How you view a thing shapes your understanding of it and how you approach it. Think about this: for centuries, people saw the sky as divine territory. It was the domain of birds, beyond the reach of mankind. Towards the end of the 19th century, something changed. Two men began to dream; their mindset shifted. They believed that the skies were tamable. They began to labor endlessly, trying again and again until at last they soared. Man may not have wings, but we too can fly among the clouds.
Many Impossibilities are the creation of our minds. Have you noticed just how adamant God is about differentiating Himself? “God is not a man that He should lie, nor a son of man that He should repent. Has He said, and He will not do it? Or has He spoken and will He not make it good?” (Numbers 23:19). God is saying, “do not limit me with your thoughts; I’m not confined by your imagination.” Your words have power; what you speak shapes your reality, and your perspective shapes what you speak.
You are not powerless; the problem is not unsolvable; your challenge is not insurmountable; that crises is not your demise. Look to the heavens, remember how mighty your God is. Remember that He who reigns above has given you power to overcome, so press forward. Cry out to the Most High for help, and He will intervene. The Spirit of the Lord is upon you, and He quickens you to do wonders. Change your perspective today and put everything in submission to God.
