A Journey Through Our History, Mission, and Vision

In 1966 the Holy Spirit gave Rev Paul Jinadu a clear vision and understanding of the New Testament pattern of the Church. He set out from York, England with his new wife, Catherine, to evangelize his native country of Nigeria in August of same year. His intentions were to work with any church that would have him, since he had never been part of any church in Nigeria.

Youth Leaders

Shepherding the Youth Arm Of New covenant Church USA

Church youth leaders are more than just mentors — they are spiritual shepherds, role models, and vision-carriers for the next generation. With hearts full of faith and compassion, they guide young people through life’s critical seasons, offering encouragement, truth, and a safe place to grow.

Whether they’re organizing a Bible study, leading a worship night, or simply listening to a teen’s struggle, youth leaders invest time and energy in ways that shape lives and strengthen the church’s future. Their impact often echoes far beyond the walls of the youth room — it echoes into eternity.

We honor and thank our youth leaders for their dedication, sacrifice, and unwavering love for Christ and His church. They truly are builders of both character and community.

Spiritual Guidance: Teach biblical principles and help youth grow in their faith.
Mentorship & Counseling: Provide emotional and spiritual support to teens and young adults.
Program Planning: Organize and lead youth group meetings, Bible studies, retreats, and social events.
Leadership Development: Identify and mentor emerging leaders among the youth
Community Building: Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and safe environment for all young people.
Worship & Prayer: Lead or coordinate worship sessions, prayer meetings, and devotionals.
Discipleship: Create pathways for personal spiritual growth and accountability.

Yomi Adegboyega

Leader

I’m a Ph.D. candidate at Purdue University, where my research explores the molecular mechanisms behind infectious diseases, with the goal of advancing therapeutic interventions. Beyond the lab, I’m deeply committed to mentorship, innovation, and faith-driven leadership. I’ve had the privilege of serving in various Christian leadership roles over the years—including fellowship president, Bible study secretary, and music director—experiences that have shaped my heart for people and purpose. I also serve as the CEO of Jaris Computational Biology Center in Nigeria and hold certifications in Project and Human Resources Management. In my spare time, I enjoy playing the piano and guitar. Whether in the lab, on stage, or behind the pulpit, my mission is to serve God faithfully and reflect His light wherever He leads me.

Iyanu Adegbite

I am a Certified Nurse Midwife with a passion for both healthcare and entrepreneurship. Guided by my faith, I am dedicated to helping others encounter the transformative love and joy found in a personal relationship with Christ. Whether I'm supporting women through some of life’s most sacred moments, mentoring others, or worshiping, my heart is fully committed to service. I find peace and inspiration through reading, journaling, and spending time in nature. I also thrive on outdoor adventures and the excitement of new challenges. Above all, my life’s purpose is to glorify God by encouraging others to walk boldly in their faith and purpose.

I’m a finance academic with a deep passion for teaching God’s Word and helping others grow in their relationship with Him. I also love to worship—it’s one of the ways I connect most deeply with God. When I’m not studying or working, you’ll likely find me unwinding with a good Netflix show or spending time with friends. I believe in the power of community, and I’m committed to seeing (young) people grow in faith, purpose, and intimacy with Jesus.

I am currently a student and worker in the IT industry. I’m a passionate lover and enjoyer of stories, so I really like books, anime, games, and the Bible. There’s a lot to learn from a good story. Some other activities I enjoy are listening to Bible teachings and tech podcasts during my meal times and while driving. I aspire to be someone who leaves positive impacts on people through my words and actions.
