Dealing with Discouragement

Discouragement comes when you least expect it; sometimes it comes from the people you least expect it from: it can be so painful. It feels like the whole world is beating down on you, things do not want to go as planned, people are constantly disappointing you. You feel drained and worn out.

“God is enough.” These three words, simple as they are, carry so much depth and weight. Look through the stories of the Bible, the lives of men that came before. There were afflictions, barrenness, calamities, droughts, encroachments, floods, giants, hunger, and so much more, “But God….!” You see, that’s the testimony; that is our Testimony.

Your best friend may have betrayed you, “But God”! Your job may have layered you off, “But God”! Your family may be frustrating you, “But God”! People May have gang up to pull you down, “But God”! You might be going through A through Z, “But God”! Never forget that. He is your turning point; He is my turning point. Lift your head up and look forward, remembering these words.
(2 Thessalonians 3:3)
